Introductions...

Hello blog world! My name is Tiffany, although those close to me call me Tiff. I’ve been dying to start a blog for quite some time but had noooo idea how to do it. So, I’ve been harassing a friend and googling the crap out of it and I think I’m possibly getting the hang of it. Possibly.  I’ve wanted to punch this computer several times and might have carpal tunnel now, but I’ve got a blog!

So, a little bit about myself. I’m a twenty something almost THIRTY something newlywed! AHHH! So, many changes in my life the last few years! I’m a registered nurse in the operating room and love my job, most days. It can be very rewarding one minute and very sad the next. All in all pretty rewarding and fulfilling though.  I love the adrenaline rush of something crazy, but also enjoy the quite routine ‘stuff’ as well. I have some pretty amazing co-workers and have made some lifelong friends. Oh, and my schedule is to die for! Really, it is. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for 12 hours, no Monday’s or Fridays! It’s UH-mazing!

Nick and I got married in August. Can’t believe it’s almost been 6 months. One of the best days of my life, and it’s so sad how fast that day goes. L  I will post a few pictures when I figure out how to do that! Oh and then there is the baby question.  Its funny how you get married and then EVERYONE asks you if you’re pregnant or when you’re going to pop one out! Can’t we just be married and be ‘US’ for a little while first?! That’s what I want anyway. Nick on the other hand, would have liked to have been pregnant 6 months ago! {Doesn’t help that two of his brothers already have kids.} He’s worried they’re not going to grow up together or something! He just doesn’t know how much work those darn babies are. I have to admit that I DO have baby fever and can’t wait to start that adventure. Just. Not. Yet.

Next on the agenda, my weird domain name! EwWhatsthatsmell! Yup, what’s that smell! If you know anything about me you know that I’m a little strange and have the nose of a blood hound. Really, I have one serious sniffer.  I’m also incapable of burping. It’s horrible. So… you know that gas has to go somewhere. TMI, yes, but it’s true, and I can’t help it. I have some weird stomach issues and no one seems to be able to figure it out. I’ve given up, for now. So I’ll continue to have a huge 9 month pregnant belly after I eat… anything. Ugh! Another reason for the name, our 10 month old lab Brinkley aka Brinks, Stinks, Bubs, Horse boy, Stinkley, just to name a few! He is our baby fur ball and is spoiled rotten! Any dog lover knows that doggy gas is absolutely HORRIBLE!!  He’s got A LOT of it too. It’s quite fitting that he ended up being our dog. We find ourselves asking each other, “What’s that smell?” a lot!  I know some couples don’t talk or do such things in front of one another, but I would explode if that were the case. Seriously, I’m convinced I would.  On a more not so nasty note, I knew this name would be fitting for our ever growing family. As we grow there are going to be LOTS of new smells introduced especially with a baby. Can’t wait to see Nick with his first dirty diaper! I will for sure post that when we get there. J

Hopefully I haven’t scared you away and you will stick around to see what smells!
