I got this lovely picture from my sister-in-law Monday evening after watching Kamryn. I'm so happy this didn't happen to me because I would have had a full blown meltdown!!! Thats NOT food my friends. I wouldn't even know where to start! Poor girls antibiotics have a nasty side effect of...you guessed it...diarrhea. Yikes!!!! EwWhatsthatsmell!!!!!

Babysitting Miss Kamryn

I got the pleasure of babysitting this little lady today. Her name is Kamryn and she just turned 1 in December. She is Nick's niece, and obviously mine now too! She threw up 6 times yesterday but you would have never guessed it today. She went to the doctor and she has an ear infection and pneumonia. Poor baby! If I have a child 1/2 as good as she is ill be set! And will want 10 more! She is the happiest most fun little girl to be around. Oh, and SMART!!

We hung out at her house this morning and after her first nap and lunch we packed up and headed to my house to check on the fur ball. I loaded up the stroller and the other gazillion things you need to travel with a baby and headed out. This is already exhausting to me! Mommy world is a whole new place. Of course, Brinks scared the crap out of her at first, but only took a few minutes and she was ok. Now, to figure out how to get everyone ready for this walk that could be horrible!! Not too worried about Kamryn, but Brinks can be a handful! Off we went! And to my surprise it was quite pleasant. And it turned out to be a great little workout. So glad we did it! And could the day be anymore GORGEOUS in January?!

Our family.

Here are a few wedding pictures...
Our first look. This picture is one of my favorites! All that emotion on Nick's face! ❤

Such a fun day!

                                                                          Ahhhh!!!!

And our boy Brinkley! This was several months ago but one of my faves!

Introductions...

Hello blog world! My name is Tiffany, although those close to me call me Tiff. I’ve been dying to start a blog for quite some time but had noooo idea how to do it. So, I’ve been harassing a friend and googling the crap out of it and I think I’m possibly getting the hang of it. Possibly.  I’ve wanted to punch this computer several times and might have carpal tunnel now, but I’ve got a blog!

So, a little bit about myself. I’m a twenty something almost THIRTY something newlywed! AHHH! So, many changes in my life the last few years! I’m a registered nurse in the operating room and love my job, most days. It can be very rewarding one minute and very sad the next. All in all pretty rewarding and fulfilling though.  I love the adrenaline rush of something crazy, but also enjoy the quite routine ‘stuff’ as well. I have some pretty amazing co-workers and have made some lifelong friends. Oh, and my schedule is to die for! Really, it is. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for 12 hours, no Monday’s or Fridays! It’s UH-mazing!

Nick and I got married in August. Can’t believe it’s almost been 6 months. One of the best days of my life, and it’s so sad how fast that day goes. L  I will post a few pictures when I figure out how to do that! Oh and then there is the baby question.  Its funny how you get married and then EVERYONE asks you if you’re pregnant or when you’re going to pop one out! Can’t we just be married and be ‘US’ for a little while first?! That’s what I want anyway. Nick on the other hand, would have liked to have been pregnant 6 months ago! {Doesn’t help that two of his brothers already have kids.} He’s worried they’re not going to grow up together or something! He just doesn’t know how much work those darn babies are. I have to admit that I DO have baby fever and can’t wait to start that adventure. Just. Not. Yet.

Next on the agenda, my weird domain name! EwWhatsthatsmell! Yup, what’s that smell! If you know anything about me you know that I’m a little strange and have the nose of a blood hound. Really, I have one serious sniffer.  I’m also incapable of burping. It’s horrible. So… you know that gas has to go somewhere. TMI, yes, but it’s true, and I can’t help it. I have some weird stomach issues and no one seems to be able to figure it out. I’ve given up, for now. So I’ll continue to have a huge 9 month pregnant belly after I eat… anything. Ugh! Another reason for the name, our 10 month old lab Brinkley aka Brinks, Stinks, Bubs, Horse boy, Stinkley, just to name a few! He is our baby fur ball and is spoiled rotten! Any dog lover knows that doggy gas is absolutely HORRIBLE!!  He’s got A LOT of it too. It’s quite fitting that he ended up being our dog. We find ourselves asking each other, “What’s that smell?” a lot!  I know some couples don’t talk or do such things in front of one another, but I would explode if that were the case. Seriously, I’m convinced I would.  On a more not so nasty note, I knew this name would be fitting for our ever growing family. As we grow there are going to be LOTS of new smells introduced especially with a baby. Can’t wait to see Nick with his first dirty diaper! I will for sure post that when we get there. J

Hopefully I haven’t scared you away and you will stick around to see what smells!
